As a Lead Data Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms organization, you will be a key member of an agile team focused on enhancing, building, and delivering data solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves maintaining critical data pipelines and architectures across various business functions to support the firm’s objectives.
Job Responsibilities
1. Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models using firmwide tooling, linear algebra, statistics, and geometrical algorithms.
2. Data Platform Solutions: Design and implement secure, stable, and scalable data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions.
3. Data Pipeline Development: Define and create robust data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and transformation.
4. Data Warehouse Design: Model and design data warehouse architecture for business intelligence and analytics.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand and address their data needs.
6. Innovation and Best Practices: Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices for data management.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Formal training or certification in data analysis tools and techniques, with proficient advanced experience.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
* Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
* Experience across the data lifecycle, including database backup, recovery, and archiving strategies.
* Proficient knowledge of linear algebra, statistics, and geometrical algorithms.
* Knowledge of data warehousing solutions like Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Databricks.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of machine learning concepts and tools is a plus.
