You will need to be able to manage and structure your workload whilst being content working away from a traditional collaborative and team led environment.The RoleAs a Structural Design Engineer, you will:Prepare conceptual and outline structural designsComplete detailed structural calculations in line with Eurocodes and UK Building RegulationsDesign structures using concrete, steel, masonry, and timberProduce detailed design drawings and technical specificationsDevelop fully coordinated Revit construction drawingsLiaise directly with clients, consultants, and project teamsAttend site visits during construction phases to monitor progress and provide technical adviceSupport tender and construction information productionWork independently whilst collaborating closely with senior engineering leadershipAbout YouTo be considered, you will ideally possess:Experience as a Structural Engineer within residential, mixed-use, or commercial projectsStrong technical knowledge across concrete, steel, masonry, and timber structuresExperience producing structural calculations to EurocodesHigh proficiency in RevitExperience using structural design software such as:TEKLA TeddsSCIA EngineerAutodesk RobotSimilar structural analysis packagesExcellent communication and client-facing skillsStrong organisational and problem-solving abilitiesThe ability to manage projects and meet deadlinesWorking towards or already holding MIStructE or MICE chartershipThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Structural Design Engineer looking to work on technically challenging and environmentally conscious projects within a forward-thinking consultancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
