Based - Hybrid - but base location is Hatfield (Hertfordshire) so needs to be commutable
You’ll be working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to ensure that requirements are accurately captured, validated, and well understood, aligning these to business goals and enabling the business strategy and long-term plans.
Your analysis and documentation will support the business in making informed decisions, supporting Group IS (GIS) in delivering excellence in technology that drives exceptional outcomes, values, and experiences.
What you’ll do
* As a Junior Business Analyst, your role entails capturing business requirements for various engagement types, such as supporting business cases, proof of concept, and projects.
* You will ensure these requirements are validated, aligned, and documented in preparation for handover to Business Stakeholders, engagement leads, or technical Teams.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Collecting and validating requirements through root cause analysis and examining data, processes, workflows, and gaps.
* Documenting process user stories.
* Reviewing information from multiple sources, processes, and systems.
* Creating and maintaining quality requirements documents, use cases, and generating clear process flow documents in standardised formats.
* Working collaboratively with internal and external teams to validate and rationalise requirements, review options, obtain relevant approvals, and transfer requirement specifications seamlessly.
* Establishing and nurturing close working relationships with stakeholders to understand requirements and challenges.
* Facilitating stakeholder interviews and workshops, fostering team collaboration, and sharing best practices.
* Aligning with department and business objectives, identifying risks and opportunities, and promoting best practices.
* Managing customer expectations through timely delivery and effective communication.
* Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
* Supporting coherence in cross-functional teams to interpret and translate data into simplified and comprehensible requirements.
