About the Role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will report to the Chief Executive and lead a team of eight. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CFO will provide strategic financial and commercial leadership, ensuring long-term sustainability, growth and impact. The role includes oversight of finance, IT strategy, risk management, and governance, and is pivotal in shaping organisational strategy and resilience.
The CFO will manage financial planning, budgeting, reporting and compliance, while driving enterprise, innovation and value creation across the Trust. They will also support fundraising and grant applications, stakeholder engagement, and lead a high-performing finance team.
The Candidate
We are seeking a commercially astute, strategic leader with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to deliver results in dynamic, fast paced environments. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience, ideally within both charitable and commercial settings.
You will bring a strong governance mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. Experience in charity accounting, grant management, and IT oversight is desirable.
