About the Role
Alderbrook Care Home is a brand-new service that will become home to residents with complex physical and mental health needs. We are looking for kind, compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
* Support residents with personal care and day-to-day activities, encouraging independence where possible.
* Follow individual care plans and provide thoughtful, person-centred support.
* Spot changes in residents’ health and communicate promptly with our nursing team.
* Create a warm, homely environment where residents feel safe, respected and valued.
* Help at mealtimes, ensuring residents receive the nutrition and hydration they need.
* Bring kindness, patience and a smile to each interaction.
About You / Requirements
We’re looking for people with a genuine passion for caring for others. Ideally, you’ll have some experience in a care role and an NVQ/SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, but if you don’t and you bring the right attitude and values we’ll support you with training. What matters most is that you’re compassionate, reliable, and a real team player.
