Overview
Children and Families Healthy Lifestyle Coach role at Thrive Tribe. The position supports the One You Lincolnshire service, delivering weight management, healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes, with a focus on the Gloji Energy programme to help children aged 4 to 12 and their families lead healthy lifestyles.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a planned child weight management and healthy lifestyle programme to eligible Lincolnshire families, focusing on behaviour change to improve nutrition, movement, mindset and sleep.
* Motivate, inspire and support children and parents/carers to adopt a healthier lifestyle through a professional, knowledgeable and empathetic approach.
* Relate and communicate effectively with both children and parents/carers, handling sensitive conversations about weight in a professional manner.
* Deliver, or support the delivery of, fun and engaging physical activity with children.
* Provide one-to-one support to children and families where identified as appropriate.
* Complete Extended Brief Intervention phone calls with parents of eligible children, offering information about Gloji Energy programmes.
* Accurately record and monitor data in a timely manner using basic IT skills.
* Promote Gloji Energy alongside the Partnerships and Engagement Officer by working with the National Child Measurement Programme, local schools and primary/secondary care.
* Support Thrive Tribe and service colleagues to implement local health campaigns and programmes as required.
* Ensure due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance.

To work in this role you will need to have some experience of supporting individuals, ideally children or young people, to make healthy lifestyle choices through nutrition, physical activity or health coaching. Contract and Benefits
Contract: Open to part-time or full-time applicants. Fixed-term position until 30 September 2026.
Salary: Starting at £23,810 per year (pro-rated for part-time), rising to £25,000.
Location: Lincolnshire; regular travel across the county. A car owner is required. Hybrid working applies outside group delivery times.
Working Pattern: Regular evening work (after school times) and occasional weekends. Flexible working patterns can be arranged.
