We are seeking dedicated Residential Care Workers (and a senior) to join us at our new home in-between South Molton and Barnstaple, Devon.
Salary: £24,500 - £29,000 depending on experience. Bonuses, extra holidays, and additional benefits are offered.
Role Overview
As a Residential (or Senior) Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma. Your dedication will help improve outcomes for these individuals, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve.
Responsibilities
* Provide full-time care (two full days + nights, then four days off)
* Support children and young people post-trauma
* Maintain a safe, nurturing environment
* Document care plans and facilitate communication with families
* Collaborate with the wider care team and external agencies
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience working with children and young people
* Level 3 qualification in residential care or willingness to work towards it
* Motivation to support trauma survivors
* Passion for improving outcomes for children and young people
* Full UK driving licence
* Authorised to work in the UK
