Permanent HR and Payroll Systems Administrator iTrent - Manchester
We have an exciting opportunity available for a HR & Payroll Systems Administrator iTrent based in Manchester. Salary up to £45k, onsite flexible working. LGPension Scheme.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing Organisation. The HR & Payroll Systems Administrator iTrent will lead on Business Systems Administration, Maintenance and Support for all HR & Payroll related systems, including e-recruitment software.

Role HR and Payroll Systems Administrator iTrent
1. To provide front-end support to HR systems including user training and advice, monitoring data and user integrity and assisting processing requirements.
2. Responsible for accessing, analysing, and interpreting management information from the HR & Payroll system and presenting information in a user-friendly format.
3. To develop, monitor and maintain the current suite of business software to expert level to optimise business efficiency and resolve data and/or system errors promptly.
4. To organise own workload and coordinate the workload of others to ensure the integrity of the HR, pension, and payroll service.
5. To provide guidance and monitor practice relating to collecting and keeping employment records, ensuring requirements are met in accordance with business, statutory, audit and management needs.
6. Resolve system issues by working with the relevant system provider.
7. To support the development and maintenance of a comprehensive equality monitoring system for employment processes and produce regular reports, as necessary.
8. To coordinate and undertake full testing of patch and upgrades of the HR/Payroll system.
9. To regularly monitor service performance and to lead on the continuous development and redesign of HR and payroll processes and procedures
10. Coordinate and provide iTrent and HR technology training sessions for iTrent Self- Service, People Manager, some iTrent functions including process chains, and eForms across the organisation using engaging methods.
11. Create and keep up to date user-friendly user guides for HR technology including iTrent People Manager, Self Service, HR & Payroll function users and other iTrent developments where appropriate.
12. To support the on-going roll out of HR/Payroll system modules including self-service functionality using best practice design, testing and evaluation techniques.
Skills and Experience HR and Payroll Systems Administrator iTrent
13. Experience of developing and implementing HR, Payroll and Pensions systems, processes, and procedures.
14. Experience of providing help/support and guidance to system Users
15. Experience of creating and maintaining Organisation Structures within integrated HR & Payroll systems
16. Experience of maintaining system security profiles and passwords
17. Experience of developing and implementing system modules to meet operational requirements.
18. Advanced PC skills, and strong grasp of IT and systems skills. Excellence in Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
19. Experience of producing management reports, creating queries to retrieve management information and handling of large volume complex data.
20. Significant experience in the use of integrated HR/Payroll systems at advanced user level.
21. Experience in the interpretation of complex legislation and responding to these in respect of systems development requirements.
22. A broad understanding of Local Government Conditions of Service including Schools.
