Progress Teachers are currently seeking to recruit a Behaviour Mentor to work in a fantastic primary school in the Swadlincote area of Burton, Derby.
You will be working with pupils across KS2 who have additional SEND Needs and can display challenging behaviour. You will work 1-1 as well as supporting pupils in the classroom.
Responsibilities
* Work with pupils across KS2 with SEND and challenging behaviour.
* Provide 1-1 support and classroom support as needed.
Requirements
* The ability to create a happy, challenging, and effective learning environment.
* Helpful, positive, calm, and caring nature.
* Excellent speaking and listening skills.
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience: TA/ equivalent: 1 year (required).
* Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred).
* Enhanced DBS registered to the update service (preferred).
* Work Location: In person.
