Job Description
Join Syngenta as HSE Process Risk Assessor. This is an exciting opportunity for a natural leader who seeks to influence, innovate, and protect. You will be the go-to expert in process safety, guiding our teams and ensuring our risk assessment methodologies are robust, up-to-date, and compliant with both legislation and corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and conduct comprehensive process risk assessments
* Provide technical expertise in COMAH compliance and risk management
* Supervise and mentor team members in risk assessment practices
* Develop and improve existing safety procedures and systems
* Manage projects related to process safety improvements
* Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Analyze and communicate complex safety data to various audiences
* Evaluate and implement new safety methodologies
Qualifications
* A Degree or equivalent in a relevant technical area
* 10+ years' experience in chemical industry
* Expert knowledge of process risk assessments
* In-depth understanding of COMAH legislation
* Strong knowledge of societal risk and human factors
* Proven ability to interpret technical and hazard data
* Experience in translating legislative requirements
* Excellent project management skills
* Strong communication and leadership abilities
