An opportunity has opened for a Procurement Assistant to join a construction business based in West London. The ideal candidate will have a background within the construction or building services industry and will have experience within procurement including sourcing build materials.
Procurement Assistant Key Skills:
* Experience as a procurement assistant or similar
* Background within Construction, Building services or similar
* Ideally a residential building background
* Knowledge of build materials – concrete, cladding etc
* Excellent knowledge of sourcing materials
* Must have experience updating databases
* Communication with suppliers and customers
Procurement Assistant Responsibilities:
* Manage procurement schedules in line with ongoing projects
* Source general build materials for residential building projects
* Negotiate prices with suppliers to ensure the best price
* Build and retain relationships with customers and suppliers
* Update company database with material lists
* Communicate with site teams and contractors
