Your new role
The Operations Manager will oversee day‑to‑day operational delivery across the business, ensuring projects run safely, efficiently, and profitably. This role suits a proactive leader who can manage teams, streamline processes, and uphold high standards ofpliance and performance.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Operational leadership: Manage daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient workflow across all active projects.
2. Team management: Lead, support, and develop site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors.
3. Health & safetypliance: Ensure all activities meet SMSTS/CSCS standards andpany safety policies.
4. Project oversight: Monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality across multiple sites.
5. Resource planning: Allocate labour, equipment, and materials effectively to meet deadlines.
6. Clientmunication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing updates and resolving concerns.
7. Performance reporting: Track KPIs, operational costs, and productivity to support business decisions.
8. Process improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance operational performance.
9. Budget awareness: Support financial planning and contribute to profitability through efficient operations.
Key Skills & Qualifications required:
10. SMSTS certification
11. CSCS card
12. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
13. Excellentmunication abilities across all levels
14. Experience in operational or project management within construction or a related field
15. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
16. Strong organisational and planning skills
