We are recruiting for Student Advisors to join a busy college environment in the Solihull area. This is a temporary, full-time ongoing position, supporting students while helping manage and monitor attendance records.This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a student-focused environment, providing frontline support and ensuring accurate attendance tracking.Key Duties of the Student Advisor role:
* Monitor and accurately record student attendance using internal systems
* Follow up on absences and contact students or parents/guardians where required
* Provide general administrative support to student services and teaching teams
* Offer frontline support to students, assisting with queries and signposting to appropriate services
* Maintain and update student records and documentation
* Support attendance improvement initiatives and reporting
* Liaise with teaching staff to ensure clear communication around attendance issues
* Handle confidential information in line with safeguarding and data protection policies
* Contribute to a positive, supportive environment for all students
