Job Description
As a Senior Real Estate Valuer, you will work as part of our high performing Corporate Lending Team and be part of a Valuation team responsible for valuing a multitude of complex and unusual assets.
As a Senior Real Estate Valuer, we are looking for someone to:
* Continuously review our approach to lending policy / valuation security
* Undertake the formal review of valuation reports for all new lending opportunities £1M+; identifying key risk and providing recommendations on suitability to lend
* Identify and develop external relationship with Together valuation panel managers and LPA Receivers that promotes our property portfolio and lending opportunities
* Provide support, advice and recommendations on non-panel valuations
* Support the Group Head of Valuations in providing strategic advice in relation to property market so as to align with Group risk & lending appetite
* Support the Corporate Portfolio team and Loan Servicing division in undertaking retrospective reviews of reports
* Provide strategic input into appropriate loan restructuring, workout and recoveries
Qualifications
* Direct experience in property valuation reporting for lending purposes
* Ability to operate & engage at a senior stakeholder level
* Excellent organisational, planning and facilitation skills
* A desire to provide a strong customer service focus
