Overview

Join to apply for the Corporate Governance Officer role at Accent Group Ltd.

Location: Bradford/Burnley/Stockton/Peterborough, Hybrid. Salary: £39,360 per annum. Permanent, 35 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Flexible working arrangements available.


About The Role

Are you someone with strong governance skills, or the potential to grow quickly into a role that supports Accent’s Boards, Committees, and Leadership Team? You’ll contribute to a high-performing governance and board administration function.

In This Role, You’ll

* Provide high-quality governance support across Accent’s Boards and Committees.
* Prepare and review board papers and packs aligned with corporate goals and priorities.
* Build strong relationships across the business to support effective communication and decision-making.
* Contribute to culture change and embed governance in how we work.
* Stay flexible with a working approach that includes travel and supports work-life balance.

Salary

Spot salary for this post is £39,360 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements. Applicants developing towards the full requirements may start at a lower salary with clear progression.


About You

* Proven experience in corporate governance or company secretarial roles.
* Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience in managing meetings, taking minutes, and preparing governance reports.
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 and governance software, such as Diligent Boards.


Interviews

Stage 1: A Place to Connect — a call with the hiring manager to discuss the role and your experience.

Stage 2: A Place to Show Your Strengths — role-related assessment, behavioural/ scenario interview, and a Congruity Questionnaire in advance. Planned date: 12th November at our Bradford office.
