Inspection Manager – Sizewell C
The Inspection Manager plays a key role in integrating manufacturing and surveillance activities to support the delivery of nuclear components and systems. This is not a traditional inspection or quality control role but focuses on bringing manufacturing and surveillance together. Managing expert teams and coordinating with external organisations responsible for executing manufacturing and surveillance tasks. This leadership role leads teams of manufacturing discipline experts and quality engineering professionals who travel to suppliers to oversee and support the execution of works. The Inspection Manager delegates tasks, monitors performance, resolves issues that may impact project delivery. Collaboration with EDF SA, the RD Consortium, Edvance and other stakeholders assesses performance, ensures results are satisfactory and addresses concerns. The manager chairs monthly Manufacturing Steering Committee meetings to review progress, highlight issues and present plans to resolve them. The role requires strong leadership, coordination, stakeholder engagement, complex reporting and governance process management. If you’re a Manufacturer Surveillance Coordinator this could be a great fit.
