Job Summary
Priory Hospital Burston House is looking to recruit a lead occupational therapist to join the team as a part‑time role of 30 hours. The role will be primarily based at Burston House, with occasional travel to other sites.
Priory Burston House, located in the historic market town of Diss, provides level 2 rehabilitation for male patients with learning disability and cares for adults with complex mental health needs, including autism and personality disorders.

Responsibilities
* Assist qualified staff with assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
* Maintain own practice and service in line with local and national standards, including COT Standards for Practice, Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
* Collaborate with other Service Leads in Occupational Therapy, carrying portfolio service responsibilities that may bridge all specialties.
* Lead the development, implementation and review of local policies and procedures required to deliver high quality, evidence‑based occupational therapy service.
* Serve as a source of knowledge and expertise regarding Occupational Therapy Services, relatives and colleagues of all disciplines within the site.
Qualifications & Experience
* HCPC registered and hold a BSc or Diploma in Occupational Therapy, with appropriate clinical post‑graduate courses completed.
* Desirable: recognised long course or MSc and professional membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
* Broad post‑qualification practice with significant exposure to clinical OT within the acute sector.
* Experience in team leadership and driving change.
Employment Details
Salary: £36,252 a year.
Contract: Permanent. Working pattern: Part‑time (30 hours). Job location: Rectory Road, Diss, Norfolk (IP22 5TU).
