Veritas Education is working with a secondary school in Leeds to recruit a full-time Design & Technology Teacher for a September start. The role covers woodwork, textiles, and resistant materials, and is offered on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent.
About the Role:You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with a strong emphasis on practical, hands-on learning. You'll be working within a supportive D.T. department with access to excellent facilities and resources.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching D.T. in a UK secondary school
* Specialism in woodwork, textiles and/or resistant materials
* Strong classroom management and a passion for creative teaching
* Willingness to contribute to the wider school community
