Health & Safety Coordinator
Hours: 20 hours per week (Part Time)
Salary: £27,500 (pro rata'd)
About the Role
Marble Talent Group are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health & Safety Coordinator to support our commitment to a safe and compliant workplace. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving our Health & Safety standards, supporting project teams, and keeping the business informed of relevant policies, initiatives, and industry updates.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate site audits with our external Health & Safety Advisor, ensuring reports are shared and actions completed.
* Review and update Health & Safety policies on an annual basis.
* Attend Environmental and Carbon Footprint Committee meetings and accurately take minutes.
* Maintain and monitor the company Health & Safety action plan.
* Prepare clear and concise monthly memos, bulletins, and internal reports for Directors.
* Keep all Health & Safety documentation current, reflecting procedures and initiatives.
* Share relevant news, training opportunities, and industry developments across the business.
* Act as the main point of contact for Health & Safety queries.
* Support project teams with method statements, risk assessments, and training bookings.
* Monitor Health & Safety email accounts and ensure all reports are actioned promptly.
* Upload monthly data and report on the Accident Frequency Rate (AFR).
* Lead and champion the HandsHQ system, providing training and ensuring RAMS are updated annually.
Skills & Experience
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety policies, risk assessments, and compliance requirements.
* Excellent administrative, organisational, and document management skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document control systems.
* Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external auditors.
