Civica Manchester, United Kingdom
Project Manager – Health and Care division. You will deliver complex, large-scale software and services projects for customers in both public and private healthcare, from handover through to completion, overseeing budgets, risks, quality, and stakeholder engagement.
Project values range from £10k to £8M, and you will lead teams through all stages of the project lifecycle, helping health and care providers deliver better outcomes for patients and citizens.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, scope, and deliver projects to agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards.
* Lead and motivate a team of implementation staff, fostering collaboration and accountability.
* Manage risk, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.
* Monitor progress and provide clear, consistent reporting to stakeholders.
* Ensure financial control and benefits realisation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
* Degree-level education in IT, business, or a related subject.
* At least three years of experience delivering substantial, customer-facing projects.
* PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
* Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and contractual responsibilities.
* Experience working to ISO9000 or other operational standards.
Preferred Skills
* Previous experience in public sector health or social care projects.
* Awareness of technologies such as MS Office, Oracle, SQL Server, and Cloud platforms.
