We're looking for a proactive and personable Breakfast Supervisor to lead our morning service at The Carpenters Arms, a well-regarded country inn known for quality food, fantastic service, and a warm, relaxed atmosphere.
This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys early starts, has great attention to detail, and takes pride in running smooth, welcoming, and efficient front-of-house service - all before most people have had their second coffee
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
Leading the Morning Shift
* Oversee and manage all breakfast and early lunch service operations
* Open and prepare the front-of-house area before service begins
* Ensure service runs smoothly, efficiently, and to a high standard
Guest Experience
* Greet guests with warmth and professionalism
* Provide table service with attention to detail and personality
* Handle guest requests, questions, and feedback promptly and positively
* Ensure guests leave satisfied and well looked after
Team Supervision
* Motivate and support other team members working morning shifts
* Delegate tasks to ensure all areas are covered (e.g. tables, coffee, clearing)
* Assist with training and guiding junior or new team members
Cleanliness & Organisation
* Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming dining environment at all times
* Follow opening/closing checklists and daily cleaning routines
* Keep stock areas and service stations replenished and well-organised
Communication
* Liaise with the kitchen to ensure orders are timely and accurate
* Report any issues to management clearly and promptly
* Ensure handover to the next shift is smooth and complete
What You'll Bring
