Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative / Packager to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, handling, storing, and packing goods for dispatch. This role requires good attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently for shipment. Receive and unload deliveries, checking goods against delivery notes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet trucks, forklifts if certified). Label, wrap, and securely package items for dispatch. Assist in stock control, including regular inventory checks and reporting discrepancies. Follow company procedures and safety guidelines at all times. Work as part of a team to meet deadlines and daily targets. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse, packaging, or logistics role (preferred but not essential). Ability to lift and move items safely (manual handling training provided if required). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods. Good time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic literacy and numeracy skills. Flexibility to work shifts/overtime when required. Working Conditions Warehouse environment - may involve standing for long periods and working in varying temperatures. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
