Associate –IP / IT Life Sciences – Cambridge with hybrid working
Client

Role
* Based in the Cambridge office and involves working with clients in a variety of sectors, but with a focus on the life sciences and publishing sectors
* Provide business-oriented advice, and act for SMEs, larger PLCs, multi-national enterprises as well as start-ups, research institutes, charities and spin outs
* Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, and provide a full range of IP and commercial and regulatory advice to clients based locally, and further afield in the wider UK sector and internationally, including in the US
* Engage in business development activities
* Excellent training and career development is on offer within a collegiate environment
You
* 3+ years PQE
* The team sometimes acts as an external resource for over-flow of in-house work. In-house experience can therefore be helpful but it not a requirement
* Will thrive on close client contact and will relish the exposure to quality client contact right from the start
* Excellent academics combined with proven experience in intellectual property and commercial work are required, and an interest in Life Sciences is desirable
