Job Title: General Cover Teacher - Specialist Secondary Setting
Area: Rochdale, Manchester
Start Date: Monday 5th January 2026
Contract Type: Full-time, Long Term
Pay rate: £200 - £220 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Closing date: Friday 12th December 2025
About the Role:
We are looking for a General Cover Teacher who is enthusiastic, adaptable, and ready to make a real impact in the lives of autistic learners. In this role, you will provide engaging, well-structured lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring that students continue to make progress even when their regular teachers are absent. You will play a key role in maintaining consistency, offering support, and helping students thrive in a positive learning environment.

Demonstrate a holistic approach to student development, focusing not only on academic success but also emotional and social growthTo be eligible you must:
Hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, BEd)
Be eligible to work in the UK
Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check (if not already registered with the online update service)
