Duty Care Manager at McCarthy Stone - Neptune House, Worthing
Set in the large seaside town of Worthing at the foot of the South Downs, Neptune House is situated a stone's throw from the seafront.

Salary and Hours
* Base salary: £13.56 per hour day rate and £11.44 sleeping night rate per hour, plus a weekend enhancement of a further £1 per hour.
* Hours: 15.5 per week (includes day and night shifts)
* Day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30.
* Night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00.
* Duty Care Managers sleep between 23:00 and 07:00, providing emergency support only to homeowners during that period.

About the Role
We are seeking a professional Duty Care Manager to exemplify high-quality customer standards. This role supports the management and smooth running of a thriving community of active and independent older people, ensuring they can enjoy their best lives in elegant private apartments within a beautiful setting, with always someone on hand to help if needed.
About You
* You will be warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated, with experience in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
* You should want to work in the Health and Social Care sector, preferably holding a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification, though relevant experience and alternative qualifications will be considered.
* You will be responsible for managing the security of the development, safeguarding the safety and wellbeing of homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.
* You will coordinate activities to enhance community spirit within the development.
* You are driven to grow your skills, lead by example, and think on your feet.
* You aim to make a positive difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
