Grow your skills, grow your career. I’m recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior DB Pensions Administrator. The Role

* Take ownership of complex pensions casework, investigating and resolving issues while collaborating with the Technical team where required
* Deliver accurate benefit calculations, case reviews, and process checks, ensuring all outputs meet client agreements and deadlines
* Support senior leadership by contributing to management reporting, monitoring workloads, escalating risks, and helping to reduce rework and complaints
* Provide guidance and training to Technicians and Trainees, helping to raise standards across the team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
* Work closely with the Administration Manager and senior colleagues to plan, organise, and balance workloads, ensuring high-quality service delivery
* Assist payroll and other internal teams in resolving queries, while also liaising with members, employers, trustees, and external stakeholders
* Stay up to date with pensions legislation and industry changes, applying knowledge to client queries, scheme benefits, and regulatory requirements
* Contribute to system and process improvements by testing calculations, letters, and workflows, and raising change requests where functionality can be enhanced
* Take part in annual and cyclical activities such as pension increases, scheme events, and project-related tasks
* Represent the organisation in client meetings and trustee discussions, providing clear advice and building strong professional relationships
