Previous experience in a reception or customer service role is desirable, particularly within a healthcare setting.
The advertisement indicates a 4‑day work week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, but a request for flexibility to provide cover for holidays if required.
Responsibilities
 * Greeting and assisting service users and visitors with a professional and friendly manner.
 * Answering and directing incoming telephone calls, taking messages, and handling queries effectively.
 * Providing administrative support to various clinical and support teams.
 * Providing general assistance to the wider team to support the smooth running of the centre.
 * Room booking management.
 * Ensuring the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and presentable.
Qualifications
 * We are seeking an experienced administrator with reception experience, an NVQ or RSA Level II qualification, or the ability to demonstrate competency at Level II.
 * You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal with people kindly and sensitively in person and over the phone.
 * You are highly organised with a keen eye for detail and can remain calm under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
 * You have good IT skills and are competent in Microsoft Office applications.
 * You can work effectively as part of a team and adapt to daily demands.
