About the role
Working from one of our custom-equipped CCTV vans, you will visit all types of clients: commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road, utility, etc. across the UK. You will carry out CCTV surveys of drainage systems, assess pipe conditions, analyze results, and produce high-quality reports. All this in conjunction with our Jetting Units when required. You will be responsible for all site activity, ensuring the team works safely and efficiently, and that work is completed within the required timescale.
This is a full-time permanent role based from our Livingston office.
As a CCTV Drainage Engineer, you will
* Take day-to-day responsibility for site staff and all associated site activity in conjunction with the Project Supervisor.
* Ensure compliance of site staff with respect to Health and Safety, Quality, and Environment.
* Ensure Company policies are always adhered to.
* Report all site-related incidents.
* Work closely with the Project Supervisor to ensure work is pre-sited and pre-planned when required.
* Identify and react swiftly to resolve problems before they escalate.
* Be responsible for all Jetting & CCTV work completed on site.
* Produce high-quality results, reports, and feedback.
* Establish good relationships and communication, resolving issues and early resolution of potential problems.
Flexibility is key: we operate 24/7, so there will be early starts, weekend work, and out-of-hours work across the UK.
About you
Experience in the Utilities or Drainage industry is preferred but not essential, along with a full, clean driving license. HGV qualifications are also desirable.
