Overview
Are you a Civil Engineer ready to take on new challenges on the South Coast? This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected engineering consultancy delivering high-quality design and detailing services across residential, education, and commercial developments—from small bespoke projects to large, multi-million-pound schemes. You'll work as part of a collaborative team of Senior Engineers, Engineers, and Technicians, contributing to technically varied projects across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Develop detailed civil engineering designs and supporting documentation
* Produce drawings, calculations, models, and reports using recognised design software
* Support project delivery by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
* Liaise directly with clients and external stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
* Undertake site visits, surveys, and progress inspections when required
* Maintain quality and compliance with relevant design standards and health & safety regulations
* Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice within the team
Qualifications
* Experience working in civil or infrastructure design
* Competent user of AutoCAD and other relevant software packages
* Full UK driving licence
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable taking responsibility for your work
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Understanding of design principles for highways, drainage, utilities, and flood risk
* Knowledge of CDM Regulations

* AutoCAD (with Vehicle Tracking)
* Civil 3D for 3D ground and road modelling
* MicroDrainage for drainage design
* PDS for roads, drainage, traffic signs, and markings
