Job Title : Community Podiatrist Banding: Band 6 Locat io n: Bexley, Greater London Start date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Rate : £ 2 4 - £ 3 2 per month Working hours: Monday to Friday - 09:00 to 17:00 A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Community Podiatrist to join a dedicated and supportive team in Bexley. This role is ideal for a proactive and experienced podiatrist who is passionate about delivering high-quality foot health services in a community setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting mobility, preventing complications, and improving the quality of life for patients with a range of podiatric needs. What will your responsibilities be : The postholder will provide comprehensive podiatric care to patients in community clinics and domiciliary settings. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, diagnosing and managing foot pathologies, and delivering treatments such as wound care, nail surgery, and biomechanical interventions. The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care, supporting patients with long-term conditions such as diabetes, and contributing to health promotion and preventative strategies. Qualifications and Experiences: HCPC registration as a Podiatrist BSc (Hons) in Podiatry or equivalent Experience in community podiatry services Competence in wound care, nail surgery, and biomechanical assessment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a varied caseload independently Commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence Knowledge of current best practices and NHS guidelines How to apply?
