The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline, and since the day we opened in 1902, it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.
Your key responsibilities
Rocco Forte Hotels is a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.
Please note:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a security management role required.
As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:
* Assist in supervising all security operations across the hotel.
* Be responsible for the safety and security of our hotel guests and team members.
* Manage any security matters with a cool head & decisive action.
* Be confident in using various IT systems and working within a security environment.
* Support the Security Manager with the day-to-day operations.
* Assist with training and compliance matters.
* Must hold a valid Door Supervisor SIA License.
* Work closely with hotel departments.
Other requirements:
* Advanced First Aid certification is desirable but not mandatory.
* First Aid at Work certification is required.
