Job Title: Indirect Material Coordinator

About the Opportunity:
Our client, a global leader in the industrial and energy sectors, is seeking an experienced Indirect Material Coordinator to join their Supply Chain team. This role involves managing the distribution of indirect materials, including chemicals, consumables, and tools, across multiple sites in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics coordination, compliance standards, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the distribution of indirect (non-BOM) materials based on site priorities.
* Ensure tools meet compliance standards for inspection and calibration, collaborating with quality assurance.
* Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding purchase orders and delivery timelines.
* Act as the escalation point for logistics issues, working with the Supply Chain Management team to resolve them.
* Manage deliveries with suppliers and logistics providers to optimize costs and service.
* Maintain accurate inventory levels and support internal teams with order placement and tracking.
* Lead logistics reviews to identify process improvements.
* Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and innovations in supply chain management.
Required Experience & Skills:
* Experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, or inventory management.
* Knowledge of compliance and calibration standards for industrial tools and equipment.
* Proficiency with supply chain software, asset management, and inventory systems.
* Strong communication skills for stakeholder management and issue resolution.
* Attention to detail, safety awareness, and proactive operational improvement.
* Understanding of international shipping and customs regulations (preferred).
* Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
