Employability, Digital and Personal Development Sessional Tutor – £29.78 per hour – Based in our Southampton Hub.

We are looking to recruit staff to join our sessional pool. Our sessional pool is key to delivering our course offer. The number of working hours per day and/or term will depend on the requirements of the business. This is not a full‑time, permanent role.
Responsibilities
As a Sessional Tutor, you will provide engaging teaching, learning and assessment with a creative and supportive approach. Adapting to a range of learning styles and differentiating delivery to learners with mixed abilities, you will develop learners’ knowledge and understanding while ensuring the highest possible quality teaching and learning to a group of learners.
Qualifications
* Teaching qualification (PCGE, CertEd, DET or equivalent); level 5 specialty (IQA and assessor qualifications advantageous)
* Experience of design and implementation of innovative learning, schemes of work and lesson plans
* Experience in a range of initial assessment and diagnostic tools
* Thorough understanding of RARPA and EIF and the quality processes that underpin your delivery
* Experience of working with adults in hard‑to‑reach areas who may face multiple barriers to education
* Strong working knowledge of OFSTED’s Education Inspection Framework
* Strong teamwork ethic; collaborative and supportive culture
* Passion for adult education and making a difference
