This role is central to delivering a Prevent, Reduce and Delay approach, supporting people to maximise independence, remain connected to their communities and avoid unnecessary escalation of need. There will be a focus on supporting the teams to strive for best practice and quality assurance.
As an Advanced Social Worker you will:
* Be part of the locality leadership team and work closely with the Principal Social Worker.
* Offer expert advice and guidance to the team, demonstrating strong legal literacy and a thorough understanding of statutory duties and social work legislation.
* Be skilled and competent when offering support in cases of high complexity and risk.
* Demonstrate confidence in working with students and newly qualified staff and those with identified gaps in learning.
* Offer creative solutions to improve practice and opportunities for reflective learning.
* Support individual and whole service Safeguarding work.
