Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications and providing pharmaceutical care to patients, striving to drive the business and providing extra care and attention to the community.
Responsibilities
1. Dispensing prescription medications to patients accurately and efficiently.
2. Providing advice on the dosage of medicines and checking for potential side effects or adverse interactions.
3. Monitoring patient medication regimens and health progress of newly prescribed medicines.
4. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate patient medication plans and optimising prescribing patterns to assure availability and continuity of interrupted supply.
5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards and keeping up to date with the newest and most relevant innovations.
6. Maintaining accurate patient records, medication orders, inventory, and efficient prescription processes.
Requirements
1. Master of Pharmacy degree from an accredited pharmacy body.
2. Current GPHC registration with no fitness to practice issues.
3. Experience in and willingness to be a clinical lead during vaccination sessions.
4. Confident and willing to use Pharmacy First whenever deemed necessary.
5. Excellent communication skills and easily approachable for effective patient counselling and understanding.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in the dispensing process.
7. Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 25.5 – 37.5 per week
