Cook 4 (Catering Manager) (15/3594) Moffat Academy £Monday to Friday: 8.00am - 14.15pm This position is to take charge of a large busy school kitchen. You will be responsible for a large team within the kitchen and servery units out with. You must have Catering Manager or supervisory experience as well as cooking skills / experience. Provide meals for nursery children, primary and secondary pupils and transporting food to dedicated primaries. There will be a requirement to support the services event and hospitality functions as and when required. Be responsible for a large team of staff, their absences and training Manage the kitchen budget Be fully Allergen Aware and cater for children and young people with food allergies and/or intolerance Organise the day-to-day running of the kitchen Deal with any complaints Be aware of the current food trends and customer awareness This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
