NICE Events is dynamic events management company based in Thame in Oxfordshire. Our team of 10 works with some of the biggest brands in the UK on events of all shapes and sizes. We offer a full event management service to our clients which range from venue finding to organising and managing large incentive trips in wonderful locations around the world.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Event Co-ordinator to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will ideally have some previous experience either within an agency or venue and will play a key role in supporting the longstanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
Working with the existing team in supporting Client Management to include venue finding, rate negotiation, event scoping and planning, budget management and working closely with the client or team to bring their ideas and event objectives to life.
Assisting the team with preparing detailed and accurate venue proposals to share with clients based on the event brief and providing accurate budgets and timelines.
Logistical assistance: assist with managing online registration tools and event apps, booking flights, trains, hotel accommodation, coaches etc
Pre event support: confirming final details, numbers and agenda from the client and liaising with the venue on all of these points so that everything is set up and ready for the event
On-site event support: assist with the delivery of UK and global events, supporting senior team members with executing these to the highest standard.
Post event support: assisting accounts with collecting and chasing and matching with the confirmation paperwork with each event
Assisting with keeping up social media presence
What we are looking for:

Event delivery: some experience of supporting the delivery of conferences, networking events, or other professional gatherings would be of benefit.
Highly organised and proactive: capable of managing multiple tasks at once, maintaining accuracy and professionalism and able to work calmly under pressure
Collaborative team player: confident working closely with others while taking ownership of your own workload.
Strong communicator: comfortable communicating with colleagues, clients, suppliers, and venues.
Flexible and reliable: happy to travel internationally and work occasional evenings in line with event requirements.
Please note that we expect you to be predominantly office based throughout the week when not supporting offsite events.
