Overview
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will look after the varying needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person‑centred care and support. You will supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, support the clinical team and create a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment for our residents.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and inspire Care Assistants, coordinating with the Deputy General Manager.
* Support the clinical team in specific areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
* Respect the dignity and preferences of residents and help create a warm, welcoming, vibrant environment.
* Provide flexible work coverage as needed, e.g., for annual or sick leave.
About You
* NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
* Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
* Warm‑hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.
