Job Description:
Purpose: Here at Deichmann, we are looking to appoint a Trainee Manager. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and receive an initial salary of £29,500 per annum. Initially based in a store on the district, following training, you will support and hold stores either on a planned or adhoc basis across the surrounding area.
The stores will include:
* High Wycombe
* Reading
* Slough
* Bracknell
* Woking
* Camberley
Ideal candidate: We are passionate about ensuring our staff succeed. The role of Trainee Manager is no exception! You will be based in the High Wycombe store initially. After training, you will support and manage stores either on a planned or adhoc basis across the surrounding area. We have dedicated trainers to support you every step of the way, alongside our management team.
You will undergo first-class training and development, with a view to potentially becoming a Cover Manager at the end of your training, and then potentially a Store Manager of your own store.
You must be fully flexible in terms of travel as you will work in multiple stores (all travel paid!). You should have previous experience in retail or a related sector, be able to problem solve, think on your feet, and be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Key activities include:
* Motivate and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service
* Lead by example in promoting and recommending shoe care products, demonstrating confidence with selling and product knowledge
* Resourcing/drafting rotas within budget
* Stock management
* Analyzing sales performance data and reports
* Making recommendations to improve sales based on data and customer insights
* Ensuring company standards in merchandising and admin are maintained
* Supporting KPI delivery and standards
* Assisting in recruitment and training of staff
Personal characteristics include being a hands-on leader, positive, flexible, energetic, confident, numerate, detail-oriented, and well-organized. You should be fully flexible across the week.
Salary/Pay: £29,500 per annum
