Senior Scientific Officer
Diagnostic Medical Microbiology
Role : 9 – 12 month contract / permanent contract
Location : Home based
Our client is currently recruiting for a Lead Scientist to act as technical expert for their rapid microbiology diagnostic systems.
This is a busy role and will involve the successful candidate to develop a deep understanding of spectroscopic microbiology identification methods.
Additional duties for this role will include :-
* Working within a small R&D environment, liaising with key technical stakeholders, including software development writers, sales and marketing, clients and external regulators
* Assessing data generated from studies, devising routes to lead to further product development / applications and monitoring subsequent outcomes
* Balancing responsibilities to align technical projects for business progress opportunities
* Monitoring market information / scientific developments to continue to advance capabilities and scope of technology for the benefit of the end user
This is an exciting opportunity and would suit someone who has in-depth Microbiology identification experience coupled with device / technology development
Location : Home based (some travel required)
Salary : Attractive depending on skills and experience
