Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00
Pay Rates: £16.90 per hour PAYE inc Holiday | £21.49 per hour Umbrella Ltd

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Depot Supervisor on behalf of a local authority client based in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled supervisor with experience in waste management, street cleansing, or environmental services to join a busy operational team.
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing the day-to-day delivery of recycling, refuse, and street cleansing services
* Ensuring services are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget
* Organising and conducting scheduled monitoring of staff to ensure compliance
* Responding to and resolving customer complaints in line with council procedures
* Liaising with councillors, officers, and internal departments to maintain service standards
* Communicating professionally with members of the public and promoting a positive council image
* Monitoring operational costs and supporting purchasing activities
* Ensuring vehicles and equipment are used and maintained correctly
* Producing accurate operational and performance reports
* Monitoring work quality, team performance, and overseeing agency staff usage
Requirements
* Proven experience supervising operational teams within waste management, street cleansing, or a similar environment
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and operational best practice
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Strong communication and leadership abilities
* Ability to manage workloads and resolve issues effectively
* Full UK driving license required
