The Role We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Payroll Specialist, who will be at the heart of ensuring accurate and efficient payroll and pension processes for our diverse range of clients. You’ll navigate a variety of payroll cycles with precision, maintaining compliance and delivering excellent client service. Role There will be lots to get involved with in this role, but examples of what you’ll be working on are: Manage the full payroll cycle, including annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly payrolls for UK employees. Ensure precise and timely Real Time Information (RTI) submissions and year-end processing for HMRC compliance. Handle statutory deductions and administer employer pension schemes, maintaining strict adherence to UK payroll and pension legislation. Cultivate strong client relationships, resolving payroll-related inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. Maintain confidentiality while adhering to data protection standards. The Payroll Team follows a hybrid working pattern, where all team members are required to be in the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Where you work from for the rest of the week, be it at home or in the office, is up to you! Our bandings are in line with market rate, and we’re dedicated to fair pay based on experience and internal equity, and we’re happy to discuss expectations early in the process so we don’t waste your time. 27 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays Pension contributions of 5.3% when you contribute 3.2% Healthcare cash plan Life cover 3 x salary Opportunities for career development and professional growth To Thrive In This Role, You’ll Need Considerable experience in a busy payroll role Strong knowledge of UK payroll processes, tax regulations, and pension auto-enrolment legislation A detail-oriented approach with excellent time management skills, ensuring deadlines are consistently met A positive team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Office applications, especially Excel Whilst not essential, it would be great if you have: Experience with Paycircle payroll software Experience working within a payroll bureau environment We don’t expect you to tick every box.
