Due to our ongoing expansion, The Court Hotel Group is looking for a friendly and experienced individual to take on the role of General Assistant. This fantastic position provides the opportunity to work in the beautiful Lake District area alongside our amazing and friendly team. Reporting to the General Manager, you will get an insight into all areas of the business. This is a hands on role, working in all departments and leading from the front.
This varied position requires an individual who can work well under pressure and has previously worked within the hospitality sector. The chosen candidate must have experience in multiple departments within the hotel setting, be extremely organised, proactive and calm under pressure. We are looking for somebody who is computer literate, trustworthy, personable, presentable, reliable, efficient, has great customer service and a positive outlook. The chosen candidate must have a full driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
This is not an office based position, the General Assistant will get stuck in and lead the day-to-day operations, be on call (on set days) overnight and ensure the smooth running and accuracy of all hotel procedures for that day plus logging any maintenance issues, ensuring presentation standards, cleanliness and upholding the fantastic levels of customer service.
