Senior DevOps Consultant | Up to £460/day

We're hiring an experienced Senior DevOps Consultant with excellent communication skills for a key public sector organisation. Your responsibilities will include:

* Lead a high-profile digital recovery and transformation initiative, taking ownership of a critical discovery and validation phase to reshape a previously stalled project.
* Engage with senior stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams, driving alignment, clear communication, and consensus on delivery priorities, governance, and strategic direction.
* Conduct a comprehensive assessment of technical debt, operational processes, compliance, and delivery readiness, producing a clear roadmap toward a scalable MVP and public Beta launch.
* Develop and present a strategic recovery plan with actionable recommendations on technical direction, prioritisation, delivery approach, and long-term operational sustainability.
* Ensure solutions are built to meet demanding standards for security, data integrity, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), GDPR, and high-volume performance within a regulated public-sector environment.
* The work will require commuting to Leeds 2 x per month
