Family Lawyer – Talbots Law
We are looking for a proactive Family Lawyer, to join Talbots Law, with a minimum of 1 year qualified experience as a Solicitor or Legal Executive in Family Law.
As a Lawyer, you will be expected to deal with high net worth privately funded work; providing accurate family law advice to clients and handling matters from initial instruction through to completion.
What the job involves;
* Working across a variety of predominantly privately funded matters including Divorce, Financial remedy, Domestic violence, Children law / Children Act applications, Emergency applications and orders, Adoption and Special Guardianship.
* Advising upon and conducting proceedings to secure the proper course of action and balanced favourable judgments.
* Utilising the Company’s case management system to its best effect in order to manage case load as well as record time so that files can be billed efficiently.
* Support the development of the Family Law Department and the Company as a whole in growing its client base by the delivery of an excellent service.
What you need:
* To be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 1 year of post-qualified experience, specialising within Private Family law.
* Strong working knowledge of financial relief.
* Proven track record of conducting proceedings from commencement to conclusion and passionate about giving outstanding client care to clients and referrers.
* Excellent administrative, planning, organisation and time management as well as being proficient in a variety of IT software, including all MS Office applications.
