We’re looking for an experienced Printer to join a fast-paced label printing / FMCG manufacturing operation. This role focuses on producing high-quality printed output to agreed schedules, while maintaining strict standards around quality, safety, and efficiency.
The Role:
1. Deliver print jobs to plan, hitting production schedules every time
2. Produce consistently high-quality output to approved copy and specifications
3. Operate presses safely and efficiently using the correct materials and equipment
4. Meet and exceed productivity and speed targets
5. Keep presses and work areas clean, organised, and audit-ready to 5S standards
6. Spot, escalate, and resolve quality or production issues quickly
7. Complete all system updates and production records accurately
8. Work to the highest health, safety, quality, hygiene, and environmental standards
9. Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to reduce waste and cost
Skills & Experience
10. Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar printing role
11. Experience within a fast-moving label printing or FMCG environment
12. Background in flexo, gravure, offset, silkscreen, or hot foil printing
13. Willing to be trained on an MO4 printer
14. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
15. Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams
16. IT literate
17. Strong understanding of health & safety best practice
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a 4-week rotating shift pattern:
18. Earlies:
06:00 – 13:30, Monday to Friday
19. Lates:
13:24 – 21:00, Monday to Thursday
13:24 – 20:30, Friday
20. Nights:
20:50 – 06:12, Monday to Friday
Rotation:
21. 2 weeks alternating between earlies and lates (weekly rotation)
22. Followed by 2 weeks of nights
