The Role Based near Rugby, this key position will see you lead proposals and estimating activities for bespoke capital equipment and engineering projects, as well as manage all spares and aftermarket business operations.
Working closely with global sales and engineering teams, youll play an integral role in shaping customer solutions, supporting growth, and contributing to the overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead proposal and cost estimation processes for bespoke equipment and service sales.
Develop and manage detailed technical and commercial proposal documents.
Oversee spares and service operations to ensure efficient aftermarket support.
Manage costing records, order entry, pricing tools, and catalogue data.
Liaise with suppliers, sales teams, and customers to ensure pricing and contractual compliance.
Contribute to business strategy, operational goals, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support the development of standardised tools, templates, and documentation for proposals and cost estimation.
About You
Proven experience in proposal management, cost estimation, or commercial engineering.
Background in engineering, special purpose machinery, process equipment, or a related technical industry.
Comfortable interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
Excellent communicator, confident working across global teams and matrix structures.
Strong commercial awareness, with a focus on profitability, process improvement, and customer satisfaction.
Leadership experience managing small teams and coordinating multi-departmental inputs.
