Reporting to the Hotel General Manager,working with the commercial team onsite and with The Ascott Limited,the role aimsto drive newCorporatebusiness to a soon-to-be refurbishedhotel
TheSales Managerwillbe responsible for:
* Day to day sales activities including lead generation, account management, face to face meetings, contracting, client entertainment, sales trips, attending trade shows and networking
* Focusingonaiming to contractnewlocalCorporatebusiness, in line with the commercial strategy
* Selling Meetings & Events spaces in conjunction withThe Ascott Limited and property strategy
* Ensure all operational processes, procedures, governance, and reporting is managed and delivered inan accurateandtimelymanner
* Utilise networks and industryexpertiseto understand and track trends, developments,performanceand key information from the marketplace, both domestic and overseas
* Ensure marketing collateral and initiatives are understood and utilised to their full extent and performance is measured.
* Lead participation in familiarisation and sales trips and in the communications and presentations on behalf of the hotel,Chelsea FootballClub andTheAscottLimited
To be successful in the role ofSales Managerwe require:
* Act as a key contributor to the generation of sales forecasting and budgets
* Be instrumental in creating,maintaining, andmonitoringthe sales and marketing strategy to ensure
* Demonstrate knowledge andexpertisein selling the hotel
* Use local knowledge,marketand management information toidentifynew revenue streams
* To beachampionofthe Ascott’sloyalty programme–discoverasr
