Hales Group are working with their client to assist them in finding a Warehouse Supervisor to assist them with the despatch and stock of goods for an FMCG company. To be successful for this role, you will need supervisory experience in in all warehouse activity, ensuring health and safety and maintain GMP standards.
Hours - Monday to Friday 8.00am till 4.00pm
Salary - £30,000 Per annum
Duties Include
Assisting warehouse manager and Team leader overseeing, stock control and dispatching of goods.
Providing leadership and direction to other warehouse team members.
Checking goods received for quality and quantity.
Receiving all deliveries onto the system in a timely manner and accurately.
Preparing weekly warehouse transfers.
Checking despatch allocations daily.
Picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch, loading and unloading vehicles.
Good relationship building and liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies.
Ensuring that all stock levels and controlled, stored, and maintained efficiently.
Ensuring that staff are trained to all procedures and SSOW's.
Ensuring that daily tasks and rotas are planned and assigned.
To maintain standards of quality, food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping within your area through Good Manufacturing Practice (G.M.P.) to ensure that both Business and customer standards are fully met.
Liaising and communicating internally with other departments
Assisting managing warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision.
Skills and Experience
Proven work experience in a warehouse.
Leadership skills and the ability to manage staff.
Trained in Level 2 food safety.
Trained in Level 2 Health and safety.
Forklift certification.
Trained in basic principles of environmental and sustainability.
Good standard of literacy and numeracy and IT Skills.
Excellent communication skills.
