Special Support Assistant - Chalfont St Giles Infant School and Nursery

Hours: Full time (Mon-Fri, 8:45am-3:15pm)

Chalfont St Giles Village School located in the heart of the Chilterns, is a Hard Federation between Chalfont St Giles Infant School & Nursery and Chalfont St Giles Junior School, which was formed in 2011. -work with a named child within the classroom supporting learning across the curriculum
-prepare and plan learning with the class teacher
-monitor the learning of the individual child and feedback to the class teacher -lead interventions to support pre/post learning as planned by the class teacher

About you
We are looking for a special support assistant who:
-Is kind, caring and friendly with a commitment to teamwork
-Is passionate about supporting teaching and learning.
-Is reflective, open to feedback and driven to be an excellent support assistant
-is motivated and enthusiastic
-Is well organised and efficient, with a good attention to detail
-Is a good communicator with a sense of humour and a smile!
Experience of working in a 1:1 role with children with ASD is desirable, but training and support will be given.
